iGeeks celebrates Flash 10th Birthday
The Indian Geeks Organization celebrated the 10th Birthday of Flash on 12 August, 2006 at the premise of Teknopoint. It was a fun gathering with good foods, drinks. Ravi was the lucky person to get a Studio 8 with Flash Professional commercial License.

Here is a very good news. Adobe have finally included their (Adobe before Macromedia) products and now thus stands at a product cost price of $2,100. This, this encompasses Adobe Web, Design and Video bundles slide under the price cap. So, watch out and wish your luck for the coming Meetings.

Studio 8 launch in Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad
The new Macromedia Studio 8; Dreamweaver 8, Flash Professional 8, Fireworks 8, Contribute 3 and FlashPaper 2 is being released in the cities, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad (INDIA) during the month of October, 2005

Macromedia Launches Studio 8 in India
Macromedia launched Studio 8 in India last week . It is by far the biggest launch in the history of macromedia. I personally visited two of the launches , first at Mumbai and second at Banglore. I have attend all the launches since Flash 5 , Never before have I seen the audience applauding the new features so much. The speakers from Macromedia were fantastic.
Engineers at macromedia really have done a great job and added features that improves the work flow immensely , these were things that the designer/developer community had been asking for and they ve got it all.
Be it flash , where adding a video is no more a ‘only for experts zone’, there are several new effects like

Macromedia Training at your City
Official Macromedia Training can now be availed at your city. Tekno Point Multimedia , a Macromedia Authorized Training partner plans to conduct training on Flash Application Development accross India. You have to form a group of 8-12 professionals for training at your city. Training will be conducted by a Macromedia Certified Flash Developer with 3 years development experience.
The course will cover all the topics related to Macromedia Certification. Certification fees have now been reduced to 50US$ so one can aim at getting certified after the course. Placements will be provided on course completion.
