Zoomify released Zoomifyer v3.0 for Flash MX and MX 2004 for “zoom-and-pan” viewing of images with no large downloads, regardless of image size. By enabling image streaming Zoomifyer delivers on-demand access to image data. Only JPEGs, HTML, and a tiny Flash SWF are needed. Complete source FLA for the SWF is included as well as a simple but powerful ActionScript API.

AJAX implementation of Zoomify viewer!
The Brain Maps AJAX-Zoomify viewer may be used with your own Zoomify images. It is much faster than Flash-based versions. Try it yourself. Future versions will enable you to add overlays to brain maps (including markers and polylines) and display shadowed “info windows”. The Brain Maps API is a free service, available for any web site that is free to consumers.
