About India MMMUG

Know more documents/about.php” title=”read more about IndiaMMUG”>About IndiaMMUG, its aim and objectives, future plans etcetera.
Some of the questions relating to the mix and match of IndiaMMUG with Mumbai Flash User Group are answered below;

Q. Will the domain mumbaiflash.com still remain and available?

A. Not yet decided but currently it will re-direct to indiammug.com

Q. Will the mailing list on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mumbaiflash cease to exist?

A. It will eventually, it will either be renamed accordingly or we will have our own mailing list, we are working on the same.

Q. Will the User Group “Mumbai Flash User Group” die?

A. This will be decided amicably between and amongst the members of the Mumbai Flash User Group, most likely this will be decided during the next meeting of the group.

Some other key points on why IndiaMMUG was more appropriate than just MumbaiFlash.

  • Not to limit the functionality and geographical orientation to just Mumbai
  • Not to limit to just Flash but concentrate on other Macromedia Products as well
  • To help and easify formation of other regional groups and give them full autonomy but sharing most common resources of this main Group

If you have questions, suggestion, feedbacks, please feel free to comment.
