Daniele have a very nice Flash Shell Extension that adds a “Export to SWF” function in your explorer. It is cool but then I have a few hiccups, it closes Flash everytime I do an export. And I have no option to export it to other folder except at the same place where the FLA is located (ok, if if obeys the publish settings rules of that FLA, that would be cool too). It will also open and close back Flash if it is closed while exporting an FLA to a SWF.
[Update : All the features that I wished are now incorporated in his latest update. So, enjoy the tool.]
Somebody send me a graphical depiction of why we should do coding without caring for the result. See it below for yourself.

A very cool write-up on Actionscript 2.0 OOP at Kirupa.com.
Also, good source files for Flash MX 2004 and Flash MX at Santigo Esperanza’s Blog.
“DSG 1.0.0 is a Flash MX licensing system component designed to protect your work once flash SWF files have been released to a client. The component allows the developer to create various access levels and time limits dependant upon what license key the client has been given.”
With just $12.00, Developer’s SWF Guardian MX is worth a check out, you can even go for a trial before buying the same.
Sean Corfield linked to a good article on “Naming Classes - Do it Once and Do it Right“
It starts off, “The selection of good class names is critical to the maintainability of your application. They form the basic vocabulary in which its developers speak and the language in which they describe the code?s every activity. No wonder then that vague or misleading class names will quickly derail your best efforts to understand the code base.” Read the article …
While you are there, you can read some of the “Most Popular” entries too which are cool indeed.
